1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

   game-surveys.com is a product of Evolution Research (Evolution Research and game-surveys.com are collectively referred to herein as "Evolution Research"). Evolution Research is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement sets forth our current privacy practices with regard to the information we collect when you or your computer interact with our website. By accessing game-surveys.com, you acknowledge and fully understand Evolution Research's Privacy Statement and freely consent to the information collection and use practices described in this Website Privacy Statement.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

   Evolution Research collects certain information from and about its users three ways: directly from our Web Server logs, with Cookies, and from the User.

   1. Web Server Logs.

      When you visit our Website, we may track information to administer the site and analyze its usage. Examples of information we may track include:

      • Your Internet protocol address.
      • The kind of browser or computer you use.
      • Number of links you click within the site.
      • State or country from which you accessed the site.
      • Date and time of your visit.
      • Name of your Internet service provider.
      • Web page you linked to our site from.

   2. Use of Cookies

      Evolution Research may use cookies to personalize or enhance your user experience. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web Server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

      Evolution Research reserves the right to share aggregated site statistics with partner companies, but does not allow other companies to place cookies on our website unless there is a temporary, overriding customer value (such as merging into game-surveys.com a site that relies on third-party cookies).

   3. Personal Information From Users

      Individually Identifiable Information

      Evolution Research defines "individually identifiable information" as any information that would allow someone to identify or contact a user. Such information includes but is not limited to: full name, home address, email address, and telephone number.

      We do not collect individually identifiable information from any user without their express permission. Such information is only used for the following reasons:

      • Account management purposes (i.e. for login purposes);
      • To contact the user regarding new research participation opportunities;
      • To notify the winner of a sweepstakes promotion; and
      • To compensate the user for participating in site activities, via services such as PayPal or Amazon.com gift certificates.

      For users under the age of 13, Evolution Research does not collect any individually identifiable information without parental permission, except under the following circumstances:

      • We collect an email address to provide notice to the parent and to seek consent to communicate with the child;
      • We collect an email address to respond to a one-time request from a child. In such circumstances, we immediately delete the email after responding to the request;
      and
      • We collect an email address to respond more than once to a specific request. In this case, we notify the parent that we are communicating regularly with the child, and we give the parent the opportunity to stop the communication before sending or delivering a second communication to the child.

      Evolution Research further recognizes

      • By agreeing to the collection and use of the child's information, the parent is not necessarily consenting to the disclosure of such information to third parties;
      • That we may not and will not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in our online surveys, nor may we require such information as a condition of participation; and
      • That the parent can review the child's personal information, as well as ask to have it deleted and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the child's information.

      Any parent who wishes to contact us for any of the aforementioned requests—including the review or deletion of their child's personal information—may contact Evolution Research using the Site Operator information below or by emailing info@game-surveys.com.

      Finally, because we value your privacy and security, Evolution Research will never disclose individually identifiable information to third parties without your permission, except to the extent necessary, including:

      • To fulfill your service requests for services;
      • To protect ourselves from liability;
      • To respond to legal process or comply with law; or
      • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or liquidation of the company.

      Other Forms of Personal Information

      Evolution Research does collect and store other types of personal information which are not individually identifying. Such information includes but is not limited to: purchase habits, gaming habits, other leisure habits, and attitudes towards videogames and other forms of entertainment. All such information is collected via our online research surveys.

      Any such non-individually identifying personal information is used solely for the purposes of market research and is never shared with partners or clients in a manner in which the user may be identified.

3. USE OF WEB BEACONS OR GIF FILES

   Evolution Research Web pages may contain electronic images known as Web beacons - sometimes also called single-pixel gifs - that allow Evolution Research to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services. Evolution Research may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon.

   Some of these Web beacons may be placed by third party service providers to help determine the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns or email communications. These Web beacons may be used by these service providers to place a persistent cookie on your computer. This allows the service provider to recognize your computer each time you visit certain pages or emails and compile anonymous information in relation to those page views, which in turn enables us and our service providers to learn which advertisements and emails bring you to our website and how you use the site. Evolution Research prohibits Web beacons from being used to collect or access your personal information.

   Evolution Research has the discretion to occasionally update this privacy statement. When we do, we will also revise the "updated" date at the top of this Privacy page.
